Department of Chemistry Announces 2023 Faculty Promotions

The Department of Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is pleased to announce the promotion of Joshua Beaver and Danielle Zurcher from Teaching Assistant Professor to Teaching Associate Professor.  

Dr. Beaver earned a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a B.S. in Chemistry from Juniata College. 

Dr. Zurcher earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Chemistry from Wayne State University.  

Promotion is awarded to faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and service to the University. Faculty promotions are approved by the College of Arts and Sciences and are effective July 01, 2023.
