Current Research Focus
My research focuses on ultrafast Spectroscopy development, such as femtosecond transient absorption spectroscopy, femtosecond transient absorption microscopy, etc. and try to utilize these spectroscopic techniques to reveal the ultrafast dynamics of condensed phase materials.

Short Bio
Chemistry is my interest since I was very young. The magic chemical reactions always attract my attention and make me ask myself how could these reactions happen. The modern ultrafast spectroscopy is a powerful method to answer the question and that's how my interest leads me to where I am right now.

Why did you choose UNC Chemistry?
Chapel Hill is a peaceful small town and it's really a good place for you to calm down and think about science. My respectful advisor and kind lab mates finally made me decide to join in UNC Chemistry Department.

What are your future plans?
My research is kind of a combination of science and engineering, and also contains a little bit of programming, so academia and industry are both of my choices.
