Thomas Freeman promoted to teaching associate professor

The department of chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is pleased to announce the promotion of Thomas Freeman from teaching assistant professor to teaching associate professor. Freeman earned a Ph.D. in biochemistry from Tulane University and a B.S. in biochemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana. Promotion is awarded to faculty members who have demonstrated excellence in teaching and service to the University. Faculty promotions are approved by the UNC Board of Trustees and are effective July 01, 2021.
