Responsibilities
Dr. Shuro’s technical role in CHANL involves supporting our electron microscopy and atomic force instrumentation. A major portion of his role also includes supporting outreach and education efforts in both the Dept. of Chemistry and the Research Triangle Nanotechnology Network (RTNN).
Education
Dr. Shuro has a PhD in Materials Engineering from Toyohashi University of Technology in Toyohashi, Japan and an MBA from North West University in Potchefstroom, South Africa. Previously, he was a Senior Specialist in Electron Microscopy at North West University.
