The Department of Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a Teaching Assistant Professor. Primary responsibilities include innovative teaching in our lecture and laboratory undergraduate biochemistry curriculum and in our first-year program. We seek candidates who will develop engaging, evidence-based teaching programs that support the success of all students. The successful candidate should excel in innovative and cooperative teaching of large-enrollment undergraduate courses and in a research-informed biochemistry laboratory. Applicants must have completed a PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field; have experience in experimental biochemistry or molecular biology research; have demonstrated excellence in teaching lecture or laboratory courses; and be committed to advancing educational innovation.
