Alpha Chi Sigma offers tours

Alpha Chi Sigma (AXS) is the professional Chemistry fraternity at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Our chapter, Rho, was established on campus in 1912. Since then, AXS has strived to create a sense of community and support for students within the Chemistry department at UNC. Comprised of Chemistry majors and non-Chemistry STEM majors, undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty, AXS is proud to have created an inclusive environment where all are welcome.

As a fraternity, AXS works to do the following:

• To bind its members with a tie of true and lasting friendship
• To strive for the advancement of Chemistry, both as a science and as a profession
• To aid its members by every honorable means in the attainment of their ambitions as chemists throughout their mortal lives

Given that many of our members are heavily involved with the Chemistry department and spend a lot of time in the Chemistry buildings on campus, we are happy to announce that AXS will be conducting tours of the Chemistry campus (lecture halls, science library, mentoring classrooms, and all!) going forward in Fall 2023 and Spring 2024!
